New 2018 Attractions for Central Florida Theme Parks

The New Year comes with as many new attractions and experiences for theme park fans. At the Central Florida theme parks there is a whole new list of upcoming projects to look for. Some of the top projects expected to open in 2018 include – the most anticipated Toy Story Land and the show with “Up” characters at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom Park. Debuting in spring 2018 is the Infinity Falls at SeaWorld Orlando. Also include are the Fast & Furious — Supercharged and Aventura hotel at Universal Orlando and more.

Expected to open by summer 2018, the Toy Story Land is a huge initiative by Disney in terms of themed land attraction. The 11 acre land is entirely based on toys, featuring characters from the popular “Toy Story” movies, such as Woody’s Lunch Box eatery, the Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster and last but not the least the spinning ride called Alien Swirling Saucers and more. Again the all-new show with “Up” characters at Animal Kingdom is another exciting 2018 offer. Where we will meet the Senior Wilderness Explorer Russel and his canine companion Dug as they take over the Caravan Theater, discovering the amazing winged species from around the world in their newest adventure.

Come spring 2018, Universal Orlando fans will be able to immerse into the world of the “Fast & Furious” with cars, characters and music from the blockbuster film series. The story involves high-speed race as you take a bus ride to an after-race party. The Aventura is another top of the line Universal highlights for 2018. Slated to open in August 2018, Aventura is Universal’s sixth onsite hotel, featuring a 16 story tower of glass, 600 guest rooms, including 13 suites for kids and first rooftop bar and grill.

For SeaWorld Orlando guests, there is an all-new twisting raft ride – Infinity Falls, expected to come in the spring of 2018. With a record 40 – feet drop, Infinity Falls promises an unusual river adventure. The journey starts with an elevator lift of eight passengers in a river, followed by the pulse pounding drop and into the rain-forest with interactive stations and more.
