If you have more than 4 people in your family, the number of resorts that can handle you all in a single room are limited; you’ll have to research which ones to avoid. (Children under 3 don’t count.) You’ll have to take your lodging budget into account as well, obviously. But make sure that you choose a hotel that serves to advance the purpose of your vacation, too. If you’re up for the epic fun, for example, you’ll want a hotel that is as close to the action as possible; if you intend to relax, location is less important but service and cleanliness become moreso.
