Now you can virtually go and explore, navigate the World’s most magical places like never before. Imagine walking down the Main Street U.S.A. or peeking inside the huge castle. And imagine you are able to do this all right from the comfort of your living room.

Also the ability to take a virtual trip through the streets of your favorite theme parks prior to the actual visit can help create a more accurate vacation plan.  So just take out your phone or computer and step inside those magical landscapes. Google Street View allows you to navigate and walk through the paths and attractions with an actual 360 feel. The availability of the Disney Parks on Google Street View is truly an exciting development for fans and vacation planners. Now visitors can virtually navigate, roam on the streets of Magic Kingdom or Epcot, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom. The 360 virtual adventure also takes you through the two most amazing water parks Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. Google Street View also includes the Disney parks in California. However, there is no information about further plans on inclusion of Disney properties outside the US.

 


Among the various park layouts that the high-tech 360-degree trekker camera (mounted on a backpack) captured include Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, including Pandora – the World of Avatar, the two Water Parks Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and the various dining and retail areas of Disney Springs. Layouts from Disney California include – Disneyland, Downtown Disney, and California Adventure Park including Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!

With Google Street View now allowing fans to take virtual tours of various locations of Walt Disney World and Disneyland, the magic is in your pocket now. You can keep visiting the happiest place on Earth anytime, anywhere. Walt Disney World’s most anticipated project – Toy Story Land opens on June 30, 2018 at the Hollywood Studios Park. For the first time guests will be able to step inside the fictional world of toys and join the fun with the likes of Woody, Jessie, Buzz and others in Andy’s backyard. It makes you feel like a tiny toy wandering amidst larger – than –life crayons, cooties and Tinker-toys. Inspired from the popular ‘Toy Story’ film series the new themed land promises a great immersive experience, featuring two new attractions and an expanded Toy Story Mania attraction. Ride lovers can experience the all new Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster for a perfect Toy Story ride adventure. Just hop on-board the favorite character shaped coaster and enjoy breathtaking views of the new Land. The background story spins around Andy who built a coaster using his Mega Coaster Play Kit with Slinky Dog as the ride vehicle. Minimum height requirement for the new ride is 38 inch.

Alien Swirling Saucers is another brand new family – friendly attraction that comes with one of the most memorable spinning experiences. The new attraction re-creates the fictional environment of Andy’s play set that he won at Pizza Planet. Inside you will find the adorable green aliens in their flying saucers all charged up to take you on a wild ride on-board the rocket ship toys. Also there is more to have in addition to the spinning with intergalactic beats, such as maybe you are one of the luckiest guests by virtue of the hanging Claw overhead. The minimum height requirement is 32 inch to ride Alien Swirling Saucers.

The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle show - Universal Orlando

Starting January 31, 2018 Universal Orlando is adding a new night-time story to its ever-popular Harry Potter experience that will run throughout the year on select dates. Named as “The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle“, the new show will transform the entire Hogwarts castle into a dazzling delight, featuring world class projection mapping with special effects, lighting and original scores from the Harry Potter films. For the first time Universal guests will be able to watch the four houses of Hogwarts (Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin) come to life in such amazing display of lights right on the exteriors of the massive castle.

The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle show is Universal’s second projection mapping initiative at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction. Earlier it’s “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” show that had stunned holiday guests visiting the centerpiece attraction in the Hogsmeade area, in the Islands of Adventure section of the Resort. The new show will run on select nights beginning January 31 to February 5, 2018. And then again from February 7 to February 12, 2018, and continue through the year with more dates yet to be announced.

Moreover, guests visiting the attraction on select dates can enjoy the show anytime as it runs continuously throughout the evening. The Resort also offers a preview of the show prior to its official opening on January 31, 2018. During “A Celebration of Harry Potter” on January 27 and 28, 2018, guests at the Park will enjoy an exclusive glimpse of the new show. Also those with the special Harry Potter vacation package, it’s a great opportunity to catch the excitement before it actually opens for the regular park visitors. Toy Story Land - Hollywood Studios Park - Walt Disney World

The New Year comes with as many new attractions and experiences for theme park fans. At the Central Florida theme parks there is a whole new list of upcoming projects to look for. Some of the top projects expected to open in 2018 include – the most anticipated Toy Story Land and the show with “Up” characters at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom Park.
