When it comes to family friendly coaster ride Disney is indisputable. The House of Mouse is always a step ahead in taking the thrill to the next level. Needless to say, how good the Imagineers are in re-creating the magic we are all mad about. Today the Company’s latest offering in technology – the all new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at Epcot is no exception. This one of a kind, most hyped ride attraction brings to life Marvels cinematic experience like never before. Opens on May 27, 2022, Guardians of the Galaxy ride hit the headlines already and we are all curious to know more and more about it.
There are many speculations, comparing the experience with several other famous WDW family-friendly ride attractions such as Cosmic Rewind is seen compared with the Space Mountain ride with speed cranked up to 11. Again it can be like Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway with every car has its own unique experience. Last but not the least it can be like Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train with super smooth track and ride experience. These comparisons are just to figure out a rough idea about what the new attraction has in store. They are no real comparisons and better not to be as Disney is unique in all its offerings.
There is no doubt that Cosmic Rewind is the first of its kind coaster ride at the newly renamed World Discovery section of Epcot. Cosmic Rewind brings to you the first-ever reverse launch on a Disney coaster. It is also considered one of the largest fully-enclosed coasters of the world. Also referred as story coaster, Cosmic Rewind combines the speed and thrills of a ride that tells a story with highly advance projections and visual effects. When it comes to smooth ride experience, Cosmic Rewind is unbeatable.
