Disney World Without The Kids

Located at the Grand Floridian Spa and Resort, the elegant Victoria & Albert’s has won the prestigious AAA Five Diamond award 15 times. It’s the premiere restaurant at Disney World and the ideal location for a special occasion meal for adults. You can enjoy a private dinner within the heart of the kitchen and actually have the opportunity to talk with the chef and his culinary team as they prepare and serve a special 10-course meal.

Golf

Walt Disney World is home to four beautiful golf courses. The Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is an 18-hole country club style course located close to Downtown Disney. The Palm Golf Course also features 18 holes and is a championship-style course with beautiful woodland scenery. If you’re feeling up to the challenge, try the Magnolia Golf Course. It’s the longest on property and named for the gorgeous magnolia trees that line the course. Magnolia is a classic Tour style golf course with challenging water hazards. The Oak Trail Golf Course is a 9-hole walking course that’s ideal for a quick game before heading out to a luncheon reservation.

Spas and Pampering

A vacation should be relaxing and a massage after 18 holes of golf or a morning in the parks is a great way to unwind. Choose from 11 different spas located throughout the resorts on the Walt Disney World property. From Zahanati Massage & Fitness Center at the Animal Kingdom Lodge to Senses Spa which has two locations, one at Saratoga Springs and one at the Grand Floridian, it’s easy to fit in time for a luxurious massage or spa treatment.

Night Life and the Kiss Goodnight

Vacationing at Disney World without kids provides the opportunity to enjoy late night fun at places like Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk. This 21 and over piano bar features nightly music from two amazing pianists who take requests and perform one of the most entertaining shows you’ll see after the sun goes down. At Downtown Disney there are several choices for night time entertainment including enjoying a traditional Irish pint at Raglan Road™ while watching the amazing Irish dancers. Other Downtown Disney night life includes the House of Blues® Music Hall and Bongos Cuban Café.

The Kiss Goodnight is something special that happens at the Magic Kingdom park. It’s a very special end-of-night, brief light and sound show on Cinderella’s Castle. It doesn’t happen every night and many people have never seen it. If you’re in the park near closing, ask a Cast Member if it’s happening and where to watch it. It’s a truly magical way to end a night at Walt Disney World.
