It’s always fun to bring home a souvenir or two from a great vacation. A vacation at Walt Disney World in Florida is an opportunity to experience some of the world’s most magical and memorable rides and attractions while staying at a fully themed resort. Disney World souvenirs range in price from thousands of dollars for signed artwork to budget-friendly mementos that won’t empty your wallet.
We’ve put together a list of some of the most budget-friendly Disney World souvenirs for kids, adults and to take back home and share with someone special.
Disney Trading Pins
Throughout the parks, resorts and Downtown Disney you can find Disney trading pins for a range of budget-friendly prices. Look for attraction-themed pins in the gift shop of rides like the Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror and Test Track. Visit the Disney’s Pin Trader shop at Downtown Disney or pick up a new pin at your resort gift shop before checking out. Don’t forget Disney Cast Members will trade pins with you if you ask.
Like trading pins, magnets are small, easy to find and don’t cost much. All the Disney gift shops have a variety of themed magnets, usually located near the cashier. Favorites include magnet replicas of the iconic Mickey Ears ice cream bar and Dole Whip. Select a magnet that features your resort so you have a memento to keep on display once you return home.
Throughout the parks, resorts and Downtown Disney are machines that press your penny into an oval and imprint an exclusive Disney World design. Each machine has three or four designs to choose from that feature your favorite characters plus the name of park or attraction where the machine is near. There are hundreds to collect. It costs fifty cents to make a pressed penny but these are souvenirs that both kids and adults will love. The gift shops even sell special Disney Pressed Penny Collection books to hold each of your new souvenirs.
You’ve seen them going down the road and every time it makes you smile because you remember the fun of Walt Disney World. Antenna toppers are inexpensive, easy to find throughout the parks and resorts and they’re available in a huge variety of styles.
Christmas Tree Ornaments
Unique, themed Disney ornaments for Christmas trees can be found in the parks’ and resorts’ gift shops as well as in stores like Once Upon a Toy, World of Disney and Disney’s Days of Christmas in the Marketplace at Downtown Disney. From classic Mickey Ears in miniature to customizable character ornaments and even special Princess ornaments, these are fantastic souvenirs that fit a variety of budgets. Consider one to commemorate that delicious dinner you enjoyed in the Canada or France at Epcot’s World Showcase.
World Showcase Candy
In the World Showcase at Epcot, make a special point to visit each country’s specialty gift shops and select one piece of international candy from each. Don’t miss the Lychee Gummy Candy from Japan! Collect an Around-the-World edible souvenir that’s an ideal gift to take home for the pet sitter or neighbor who collected your mail while away.
